im not sure if it applys to you but my 60 series sounded like it had a noisy diff/box.i pulled the tail shaft of it only to find the pinion nut was only finger tight!!!these have to be at like 180 pounds so after putting a new seal and a speedi sleve on the pinion as it was worn its running like a ...

hey guys just wonderin if any 1 could help me out ? i got a 1988 5L turbo diesel with all 1997 parts. 5th gear is a bit noisy and i have to hold 1st gear in till i start moving otherwise it doesnt sit in properly any 1 with any suggestions? or any 1 got a spare gearbox layin around or wanna sell ...
