It is possible , the price is OK , and the only question is :
How many of us are REALLY interested in those gears ?
Better off getting a small batch made, there's quite a few mitsu owners that say they want em but when its really time...... they don't or atleast that's my experiences.

I agree with Spicoli, dont need to touch the steering or brake lines as I have also done a 2 '' body lift on the MJ with the only worry being the gearbox selectors fouling the tunnel, I purchased the exact same kit from EBAY from the same bloke and there is nothing else to spend, good kit. The ...

They bodylift easy as hell. I've done two 3in to similar models only thing I had to do was wack the trans tunnel down so I could get all my gears.
Brakelines n steering don't worry bout em.

8" lp with 5.29s is what Id do simplicity the main reason that CADs just another thing to bust.
Over here if we got the 8in hp with the CAD (central axle disconnect aka vaccum thing) we swap em for a 8in hp without CAD and 4.90s out of the US montero sport

Nice Iwan!!!!!
2 things tho
Hope the material your torsion bars are made out of are suitable to be welded and you didnt loose all your spring rate by welding them and gettin em hot.
And why the hell did you keep your auto hubs? Part of the government regs? Seems like an awful lot of work to keep ...

I'm sure this is old news to you folks but, in my emails to that guy he says he will gladly ship me 50 or 100 gear sets at a time. But is willing to ship just the 2 I asked for. Quoted me a 198USD shipping charge, still versus getting from the factory its massivly cheaper

Lemme know if you end up ordering a set, if there for real or not. My 91 l200 would be up for some 5.29s specially for a 30USD.
And I thot 4.625s were gonna be an improvment over my 4.22s

Unless you can 100% confirm that the timing belt has been replaced recently, I'd do it.
When a 3.5 DOHC breaks a belt, it can get gory involving pistons and valves.

If they manage to climb down into the motor bay and look at your motor mounts, there way to serious bout there job :D
I take it you cant do a custom fuel cell for your rig? Due to regulations and what not. I think that would be what I'd do in this situation if doable.

If you could just get the auto 5spd bolted up to the 3.0 youd think you had alot of power. That lower first gear would be great for 4hweeling. Tho from what I hear itd be a pain to get hooked up
But the 3.8 would be hard to pass up also. Best of luck to you and the jabber

I have a feeling the diesels have stiffer spring rate. But the thing with the torsion bars is there mountings positions for them, varies quite a bit.

Purpose of doubling your transfer cases is:
Remember how your truck pulls when you put it in 4low?
Generally it can pull its self out rather easily.
With 2 of em you can have that low gear x2 b/c the front one is in low and feeds the next one its already low gear then you can even lower that un ...

Havent done it myself, but on 4x4wire.com there has been a few guys primarily on SWB gen1's swap the complete gen2 drive train in. Seems pretty straight forward from what ive read/heard. Trickiest part is finding the right torsion bars. Outside of that everything bolts in from what I remember.
