TD42 to TD42t

HI there. Will the head, injector pump & turbo from an 02 td42t bolt onto a 91 td42? the 91 motor is fresh and the 02 motor is seized. If they are compatable, will any other parts off 02 motor be needed- front cover, water pump etc?
thanks, Peter.

Thread is imperial. I have access to a tap but cant lend it out as it belongs to work!! I have made up a set for my RR and they are much better. I could make some rods for you if you like. Same material as MD ones but with 10mm wall instead of 8mm. $100 each plus postage...

A mate of mine had a 6.2 chev in his 75 ser toy. Standard 2h radiator was only just up to task. He had to mount a/c condensor under tray. I cant remember size of rad to compare to rover unit.

According to my Haynes manual the track is 1490mm or 58.5". That would be ctr to ctr of tyres.

LT 230.....1.192 high 3.32 low BW .........1.206 high 3.244 low plus the other high range ratios for the LT... 1-1 1.4-1 1.6-1 dont forget to get tailshafts with LT as they are different lengths. front is shorter so depending on lift of rr you may need dc tail shaft. pete

Just go & buy an older front housing. It wont cost you 1600 bucks!!! Then you can use the 10 spline outer axles as your fuse. 5 min to fix & cheaper than a cv.

A mate of mine used to paint his speedway cars with a brush. For a nice flat finish he would sit the tin of paint in hot water to thin it out and there would be no brush marks!

Borg Waner t/c swap?

Just wondering if an early lt 230r transfer will bolt straight onto zf auto in place of B/W t/fer. I suspect it will but would like to be sure before ripping it all apart & finding out i was wrong.

thanks. pete
