just a thought.. my mates car had a similar noise, well i think, this was a fairly alarming one lol but my other mate told us to check the tension on the big end bolts...worth a look??

hey, you guys say that you go to 2lo to turn if u hav a detroit, does the lack of drive disengage theese styles of locker?? i have been thinking of going an EZ in the front (cheap,and u can kinda steer cant u?), and an ARB in the back, so i can turn it off on road... cheers.

hmm yeh i had a bit of a try at putin it in the vice an hittin it with a hammer, but my vice isnt bolted down strongly enough :P oh well ill get it. cheers.

ok, so iv done my SO, rotated the nuckles, now my front right u bolt (next to the 3rd member) wont fit, are there any suggestions? or do i just try to bend one...

yea, the problem is that i didn't measure how far i twisted the diff, i just pointed it at the transfer case, and stuck it there. lol i think il just make them a tiny bit back from neutral, and if its not correct, ill put correction wedges, or just tack it in the first place, trailer it to a front ...

hey every1,
im new here, read alot of posts, u seem like an intelligent bunch any thoughts on rotating the steering nuckles on a 40 series?? is it necessary with a s/o and how do you guys do it?? iv got a 40 in bits in the shed, s/o spring mounts welded on, just need to figure this out
