Output was 190-204 hp (142-152 kW) at 6000 rpm
185-196 ft·lbf (250-265 Nm) at 4800 rpm

- 4-speed A340E Auto

Have no idea what the best choice ...

i know that most things just bolt back the same way (especially using the BenT kit) but just wanted to find out if there's anything that i'll need (eg. a small bit of pvc pipe to adapt the carby if i want to use the 1.3 air box not the top mount ...

k guys i need to re calibrate my speedo in my 80, how do i go about it, who should i talk to, are there kits available? if anyone hav info or links its would be helpful!

awsome it sounds like its gonna be a hell of a lot better than my very tired smoky rattley 1.3 with a cherade carby that sucked ass on slopes,

was gonna go efi 1.6 but havent got the time,

i went the 1.6 carb due to it being quickest, cheapest and easiest fix for now,

i'm getting a complete 1.6 vit carby motor (carby, starter, alt etc.)

but just wanted to clear up the install thing mainly so i didn't want to spend money if i didn't need to,

any recomendation's on adding a few "herbs"? i'm mainly after more torque over speed

i'm about to convert my 1.3 sierra to a 1.6 vit carby,

i've found some conflicting info on the net that i need clearing up,

is there any difference between the mounting of a 16 valve compaired to the 8 valve ? ?

some say if you use the 8v you don't need and adapter plate for the gear box ...

so guys any idea's where i can get some vitara diff gears cheap?

as my bro is a mechanic so gearing install and set up is gonna be a "FREEBIE"

i was wondering if anyone has put a vitara V6 into a sierra before?
if so is it hard? what gear box did you run? what mods are/were needed?
and if possible is there a "how to" out there some where?

carby 1.6 dont go much better than a 1.3!!!!!! chuck injection on it or find a 1.6 with injection already..

whole exhaust off a vit will fit except u will need to cut it down at the end of the muffler and get new pipework from there...

so how much better is the injection over carby????

i have 31" on my '90 sierra w/t, 1.3 diff's and 1.3 tranny,

what percentage of reduction in high range do i need to fix my speedo and get my gearing back to stock'ish region???

i can find info on what % difference (eg. 4.9:1 = 115% in low and 16% in high and/or 8:1 = 250% low and 24% high ...

so with running 31" tyres, whats the best / cheapest / most effective gearing combo eg. 1ltr transfer, rock lobster etc.

my brother has a '93 v6 pajero auto, with some major lack of power,

i think the main problems are
- very very extreamly gutless
- using HEAPS of fuel

any ideas ? ? ?

Could it be a dodgy injector ? ? ?
