Yep, mine did this (1996 3.1 TD). Had it welded and reinforced. Never had another problem until I sold it a year later. I always thought it was due to lots of corrogated roads I travelled. After I had it repared I couldn't believe how good the steering was. The flex in the chassis was making the ...

Many stating, with the front locked, should a wheel go air bourne and then come down the tourqe will rip the crap out of the CV. I suppose the moral here is don go like a bul at a gate to get in that situation. I would expect this to happen without a front locker. One front wheel gets airborne ...

G'day rainsey, I've got a 2001 Rodeo with an ARB Air Locker in the back. It's great compared to the LSD but I have found that with no weight in the rear on some really steep rutted hills I spin both rears and one front. With a couple of hundred kilo's in the back I can drive almost anywhere and get ...

Thanks mate, I'll have to catch up with you at one of the upcoming drives and have a chat and check out your rig. (perhaps over a couple of beers around a campfire ;) )

Thanks for the help.

Dave.

Thanks guys. I'll have a look around for some lift blocks and measure up the bolts I need. I know Snake Racing have alloy blocks in 2", they might be better for any legality issues.

Thanks for all the help.

Cheers,
Dave.

I've been watching Roedeo's buildup for a while now but he doesn't go into any detail on the body lift. Eveything else has pics and a fair amount of detail. (Very interesting read!)

So I guess it must have been easy. Right?

Cheers,
Dave.

Thanks guys. I wish you lot lived around here. I'm guessing the tray will be easy and I did count the number of body mounts, I think there were only 4 each side not counting the tray. My main concern was the bullbar height, radiator/fan alignment, steering shaft and gearshift. I read the article on ...

2 inch Body lift for Rodeo

Who has done the 2 inch body lift on a Rodeo. I'm thinking of doing this on mine because I have gone as high as I can can with the suspention lift. I'm running BFG 31 inch Muds. Since I had the rear locker installed I seem to be able to drive myself into a lot more trouble than before and now I'm ...
