the main hoop is outside the cab and is cross braced. all that is in the cab is the side intrusion bars, the laterals and windscreen bar. just have a look around at Murchison Off Road Adventures and the West Oz Challenge. There already is support for similar events out there

Yeah they are a very good motor, very strong and have enough power. I just got mine put on gas and am very happy, gotta love the $$$ savings running on gas.
I have been told to be wary of high km motors that have been running on lpg for a while.

I have 4.6's in my petrol gq Patrol ute. They came out of a diesel 97 2.8 patrol. We had to swap the flanges on the driveshafts (from the petrol ute which had 4.1's) to get it all mated up correctly

I was surprised how much a wheel balance will help. Car was shaking all over the joint at 100km/h, had a wheel balance and now its good as gold.
But yeah have a look at all the basic obvious things first and go through a process of elimination
