What does a flashing "power" light mean on turning
Gday, I have a 92 maverick petrol now on dual fuel. When i turn the ignition I sometimes get a flashing ~13 times of the power light on the dash when running on petrol (haven't seen it yet on gas). What does it mean? Car does idle a bit roughly at lower revs. Also is there anyplace to get the ...

Gas conversion for guzzlin' 4.2
What's the average cost to go straight gas or dual fuel on a tb42 (GQ). It's got 188000 on the clock but my economy is woeful (~27L/100ks) with a 4"lift and 35s. I've gotten a quote for ~3000! for dual fuel conversion which is almost the value of a new chev engine. So, Is it too late for my engine ...

Has anyone thought about fitting unimog 404s to a GQ patrol
I may be dreaming here but i thought about the cost of fitting twin lockers (3000) plus ratios fitted (coupla thou) plus rockhoppers plus 5 link plus lift etc and still needing to consider GU swap for strength and still only legally being able to run 32-33 inch tyres onroad or ... if at all feasible ...

Maximum legal tyre size for GQ
Reading all this ADR and tyre and rim assoc stuff has got me thinkin about getting a set of on road tyres (that is - small) for tooling around town (normally have 35s with 4" lift). Given all these rules and that my tyre placards unreadable, (says something like 16x6jj.): 1. what's the largest tyre ...

Is there any legal way to run big tyres 35+
i've read all i can on this topic and it seems like there's no winning. There's a catch 22 between ADR rules for needing a run 8.5inch or wider from these tyres (whatever the manufacturer says) and then wider rims being illegal from an increased track width point of view. It also seems that even if ...
