Yeah, I had a similar problem when I got mine a couple of years back.

First I thought it was the dual batts so I replaced them, (they were a bit sad anyway) this fixed it for a short while, then it began again.


........anyway...........

.........In the end it turned out to be the resistor ...

I need a transfer case for an early model pajero. Doesn't have to be in awesome condition, I just really need the chain from it as mine is stretched and making some shocking noises.

I think it is stretched and skips teeth on the gears........

If so, go the 3 inch!! They sound so fat! I'm getting a turbo on mine when I finally sell my pajero. I'll be going 3 inch straight through. They sound like big trucks and when you pump the accelerator going up hill climbs they sound awesome.

One of my mates has a bundera and it is smaller inside than my pajero. Doesn't go as good either, seems a bit sluggish. Suspension seats are cool!!

I have a weber carby on mine and it goes really good, doesn't stall on hills either.

It's got the LSD in the rear that works really good. Better than my mates '99 model hilux one.

G'day, i've got a 85 SWB pajero and it sounds like there is a metal type screeching noise coming from the either

a) Rear drums
b) Rear uni joint
or
c) Rear axle

It's been annoying me for a while now and I think it is the uni joint because its got some play in it and when I pump grease into ...

are they cast, or are they just welded bits of thick flat bar??

Just street them and follow BJ on a couple of city runs to get some Scanas and i'm sure they'll wear down pretty quick. You'll be there in no time!

And do castor correction bushes surfice or are drop brackets or correction plates the better go??

I've heard the castor bushes flog out heaps easy.

Can you put johny joints in the trailing arms or is this only good for massive lift?

My pajero box was leaking and i di and it burnt out the pump.

Big dollars for a full repair kit for the box and 90 bucks for a second hand pump. It's still not that good anymore either.
