Thanks.

I thought it was Gonads, but when I tried searching the internet for Gonads it all went downhill from there...

Floating zuk

A couple of years ago I watched a video of someone on this forum driving a suzuki with huge tyres across a dam. It floated.

Can someone point me at the link?

I'll be new to Brisvegas soon, so will have to keep the 33s in the shed for the daily Hilux! Read the rules carefully. I think that if you have legally modded a car in one state and move to another you can keep the mods, even though they may be illegal in Qld. The problem comes when you try to sell ...

Bummer. It's the latter category as it's basically a space-frame with galv steel panels outside.

No parts of the LR chassis remain.

Maybe I should move to the UK for a year so I can make a personal import.

Where did you hear they are stopping bringing D90's into Australia? They only just started. From what I have read, you basically need a complete 110 or 90 to build an Ibex - then you are left with a LR body to sell off. Austral LR sales dude (Brisbane) told me this afternoon that the 90 was no more ...

Ibex

I would like to build an Ibex in a year or two. This is particularly likely to happen as they are no longer bringing D90s into Australia :( What are the chances of being able to do this? I live in QLD at the moment. An Ibex is a replacement body/chassis for a defender or a kit car depending on how ...

I wouldn't buy 8000K inserts. They will be really purple which will greatly reduce the amount of visible light output. They will also attact a lot of attention from the boys in blue. And with possibly non-ADR compliant lighing you do not need this. Get 4-5000K for maximum visibility and less chance ...

Info on Brake Parts: At "http://www.hotchallenge.se/tips.html" there is some info of obtaining brake parts for the C3-series from England (Land Rover parts) at a greately reduced price compared to Volvo. That's my friend Tobias' beastie. The link above is also available in English: m Steve

He does, but only because I'm posting it to him. I don't think he knew it was even in this issue. Either that or there was some communication confusion.

With the bulkhead mounting directly on the chassis and it being so structural you will have problems. The inner mounts on the chassis can be lengthened easily enough. To lift the other end you would need to remove the chassis outrigger it mounts on and reweld it a couple of inches higher. Once you ...

Does anybody have a recomendation for a roadworthy on a disco? I'm looking to sell mine and need the dreaded inspection. Nasal sex. It was damn hot in the carpark so I wasn't spending any longer than I had to in there. It had been lined with checker plate in the back with a storage locker or something so I assumed that this was part of the join cover-up. There was also a bulkhead behind the seats. Not sure that 90s ...

The +50 bulbs are generally a great improvement. But don't get the ones with a blue tint. The blue will scatter like mad in the rain and you will get a lot of glare.

The ones to get are the natural daylight colour as opposed to blue.

I went to the Bowen Hills place today and they were all locked up. Peering through the windows revealed an empty showroom.

Did they relocate?
