well, not straight in but not insanely hard either. You will need -sierra sump and oil pickup (had to modify my oil pickup bracket) -sierra clutch and flywheel (bolts straight to gearbox with these) -sierra waterpump rear metal coolant pipe -custom radiator hoses (ae82+ford laser/mazda 323 95model ...

I just found out the gearbox mount was completely broken which means the gearbox dropped at the back which brought the top of the engine close to the firewall. I pulled the engine out and banged the firewall a little bit but it still looks stock. Now I have a fair bit of room. Cheers

Its the 1.3L chassis.
I have used the sierra mounts that connect to the body and the engine but used the commodore rubber bit in between which wouldn't change the position of the engine backwards and forward.

No you have to use the 323 rotor, i was saying the one i got the brass bit out of was off a hitachi distributor. The 323 rotor looks the same as the one i used. Where are you located, i have the one i modified, didnt end up using it. Made up a right angle drive instead. You can have it, and the cap ...

I had a right angle drive set up by a local engineer, took a couple of hours to manufacture and works perfect. You will need a g13a cam, g13b & g13a dizzys. converting gti rotor button to mazda for GTI sierra conversi

Just in the process of changing the rotor button from the original to the mazda 1.6 turbo, not quite sure what to do. Apparently you can take the brass insert from the gti one and put it into the mazda one? Have I got the wrong one because the hole is way to big on the mazda rotor button? Heres a ...
