check out superiors website. they got step by step how to fit theirs. should give u a pretty good idea.

yeah its a ifs hilux diff not a surf or 4runner. ok i just herd that centres were different sizes but thats all good obviously just chasing the widder track. i didnt wanna get new ratios due to getting transfer gears done.

ok im looking at 4 linking my 96 hilux. so ill be getting an IFS diff for the back wide track for the front and all that. i know the centre is smaller in the ifs than the solid axel but do they have similar ratios if they are both out of a dual cab or will i need to fit 4.88's in the both of them ...

i know its a little bit more work but if your gonna change it would be better in the long run to disk brake in the rear. you can get it fully mod plated and legal and if your already changing the booster its not too much more work. and you'll still have problems with the whole drums full of mud ...

thanks for the info brooksy. do you know if the locktup leafs are the same length as the drop shackle superior leafs? thought they were a little longer is all. im gonna try to go off the original mount hopefully there is enough room to push the shackle mount back that much. my car is at my bros ...

i know thats wat i have to do to push the diff back but i dont wanna have to take all the mounts off again. i didn't ask to take the piss out of me all i was wondering is can u re drill the spring perches??? it only has to go back a fraction to fit them

my bad i meant to say TG leafs? cause they are like 5" longer that locktup leafs... unless they use diff units of measurement or something?

keep in mind not at full flex and alot of things are not on

OK im moving my diff forward this weekend and shackles and all the other bits and pieces but its still a d/d so im not fitting shock hoops. with the diff forward and still using the original shock mounts will the shocks be on a lean and is it bad for them??
