Tell me if I am wrong. I have been told that with Maxi Lockers because it replaces the diff centre this makes the centre a lot stronger than the original unit. And harder to break, so may not require Diff Pegging. Whats your opinion.

I was first to pay a deposit and also the first to give up and pay retail price.

I have paid the full amount, and the INT gear is already back and ready to go in with the new gear set.

If you have standard Diffs and Axles....you will break the diff centre before an axle. Generally speaking you will start breaking axles after you put uprated diff's and or lockers in.

The Crown Wheel and pinion is not the problem it's the hemisphere!

Excessive wheel spin tends to weld the spider ...

Don't know if this has any bearing or not. But Mal Story the Owner operator of the now defunct Maxi Drive Engineering told me in person to use Castrol 90 weight suitable for LSD diffs.

I rang MR Automotive yesterday. They are waiting for all concerned to make a $ 500 deposit to lock this deal in.

As of today I'm the only one to make a deposit.

MR quoted me quite a good price even if this package deal doesn't work out.

Either want it or you don't...so cough up you bastards ...

Now that there is 10 people, are we going to make deposits to MR for the gear sets to lock in the orders or how is it going to work?

I'm not in any rush but I want to get my VC out and the modded LT 230 in by the end of next month if possible.
