cheers for your suggestions, just a dumb question - how would brake fluid be getting burnt and gong through the exhaust? Also I've heard that running incorrect fuel mixtures can seriously F$%# things up blown head etc. Is this smoke issue anything to be concerned about?

Thanks fellas, I'll have a look into those things.
So can I rule out the winter mix as a problem, just coincidence? Old mate reckons the winter mix is about 50% heater oil (and good for your rings) and if anything would be creating more black smoke but not the white...

Thanks fellas, I should probably clarify - I am going around Australia in her at the moment so she's loaded up a fair bit, so when i hit hills I often have to drop her down to 3rd (2nd if it's real steep) just cause it's fairly gutless and I can keep her on about 2000RPM and take it slow and steady ...

Hi, I have a 87 troopie 2h ARB turbo with 33's and a 2inch lift. I spent about 15mins writing this post and the internet crashed and I lost it all so I'll make this breif. The problem is that when I go uphill so does the temp. I have replaced all of the hoses, checked the water pump, got the ...
