found front rose joints on rear trailing arms work good. i dont bend trailing arms or have not bent them sinse putting them in,touch wood and flex is not bad and a good shock should keep pressure on axle when spring ...

check potentiometer ,timing,dizzy and vacum advance is working, check for air leaks. or dirty air filter, tires under pressure or lpg back fired and split intake hose
or could be like me and had next door neighbour with a jerry can and hose.

thought that after seen the faces in the two on coming cars as i drifted past them under full lock and foot flat.and the perment finger prints in the dash from my wife.

i had sort of same thing, mine was wrong caster but thats in rangie with a lift

i ran 34x10.5x16 tsl's on my truck found them good at first but when they worn down they werent very good on road,not to keen on drifting a 2ton truck at 100km on wet corners
but got round 80 thou from them
off road were good but need them round 3lb to make them bog out
i run maxxis now and Imo out ...

Imo i think dyno running your motor and find out
what your motor is putting out and at what revs first.
no good having 400hp@8000rpm
and you never get it over 3500rpm
or having 300lbs of tourqe @ 1000 rpm
and your trucks set up for 4000rpm@100ks in top gear.
at least from the dyno test .you will ...

would think just a piper cam and some head work and two inch spacer to lift plenium chamber up on a 9.35:1. would be better and cheaper than laggy turbo. as for supercharged i think it would force to much air into back pots , and i think alloy holden motors where based on rover/buick motors ;) bite ...

ive just changed my dizzy to hei and had same problem apart from chucking out 6 ltrs off water .i put new radaitor in and solved my problem. could be one reason.or you have put wrong wire on to thermastate housing, but sounds more like just bad air lock .remove top radaitor hose and fill motor up ...

put it back indicators worked

would a 33x12.5 not be able to be aired down

Imo generally as vehicle increases there ground pressure
they decrease there offroad preformance
a vehicle with lower vci (lbs/sq inch)
should out preform vehicle with higher one.
tracked vehicles have low lbs/sq inch, because
the weight is spread out more,so bigger tires
on a 4x4 will give more ...

i would have thought running a 15"tsl
@same psi as 10.5" i wouldnt of had the
same problem on the beach/dunes of bogging down
its always been a big controversy fat/skinny size tires
Imo i found wider was better on my truck all round

i ran 34x10.5x16 tsl's
that cut deep in mud like simex or silverstone
but cut deep in sand like shovels at low speeds
or fluffy sand or foot down up hills
or taking off in sand
where my mate was in same kind of truck
but with 12.5 mt/r's didnt have same
problems in sand and they preformed good in ...

Iam sure p38 disco 2 and rrs are all 5x120
most bmw and holdens and some fords run 5x120 too
but not sure if centers big anuff?or able to be lathed out?
if that the case d2 p38's could bling out on some offset 20" rims
as stud pattern common fairly cheap

theres no question bout it, the axles and diffs are weak as piss, ive busted 4 centres so far and ive only got 32's and ive had the car since november. :twisted:

keep r380 box and def t/f box
nas model defenders had rover v8's

would a 2l td put 300ft-lb to the front
and 300ft-lb to the rear on a 4wd?
or is that a 2ltd would put out 300ft-lb at the fly wheel
then it get split to four wheels giving it 75ft-lb
or maybe 30-60kw at each wheel?

i run upgraded centers and
havnt broke axle yet running 35x13.4x16s or 34"tsl's
with them but
blew a few diff heads and cv's before diff head upgrade
but think cv's may break before axles
i like the
standard axle as a controlled weak link
but next on list heat shrink my
cv's and peg the crown ...

certain peak bends ,tube wall thickness , length and size ,
back pressure and mufflers can change performance ,
good exhaust fitter will tune system for your truck
or get diesel tuned for the custom exhaust once finished.
Imo run a turbo flow muffler as the resonator not a hotdog muffler.
