got onto a engineer today and have had a bit of a win

If the wheels fit and don,t anything he will sign them off and issue a engineers certificate.

Due the small increase (40 mm over standard) i don't even have to have the speedo re-calibrated
Finally something good about living in SA

As i am looking into fitting bigger than standard tyre this has come up.
How do most of you get on with bigger than standard tyres with insurance and ADR regualtions

I am looking at fittimg 265/75-16 to my challenger.
Standard size 255/70-16

I want to fit a set of 33 to the challenger but i am concerned about gearing, the challenger is high enough at the moment.
Does anyone know if the reduction gear set on the market for pajeros will fit the challenger.- its a manual
i Hope to fit a set of BF Goodrich 265-75-16 to my 16x7 inch rims ...

challenger snorkel problem

I finally got around to hooking up the snorkel to the airbox today (the snorkel has been on the car for three months now)
I took the car for a run around the block and when i got back it was not idleing smooth.
Now it is just enough to see the needle on the tacho move a mm or two.
Is this normal ...

Just to let you know i went down to Gibson RM the company that manufactures AirFLow snorkels.
The snorkel that they make for the 02 Tritonfit the front 1/4 panel fine.
while i was there they took a template of my car so they can now provide a fitting templete if yuo want to order one as the ...
