2003 HJZ79 Ute body
G'day guys,
Does anyone know where in Aus I would be able to buy a genuine Toyota ute tub for the 70 series??? I would consider importing one but the cost would be massive. Wouldn't imagine Toyota would stock them???
Any help would be grateful
Cheers

Horrible brake pedal feel in hdj80
G'day all, I have been experiencing a very spongy feeling in my brake pedal lately. I had a vacuum leek in the booster so got that rebuilt and add a double diaphragm and replaced the master as well. She has new pad and rotors less than 10000 km old. Braided brake lines and a pro portioning valve ...

Re: 76 vs. GU series 7
Thanks for the info guys. Greatly appreciated. I am going to stick with Toyota. Shouldn't of had to question my loyalty.
Spoke to a dealer and its up to a 6 month wait if I can't find what I want in the country already.

76 vs. GU series 7
HI guys, My HDJ80 is Starting to cost me some money and I have been considering an upgrade for a while now. While I love my toyota's I am not against Nissan's and think the new patrols to be built quiet well. My Likes for the 76 cruiser is the engine, followed by the engine, the rugedness and the ...

Re: Styleside dual cab ute chop to my 80 series
Thanks for all your reply's guys. I am kind of thinking I will just keep it for a bit longer and then upgrade.
What do 1991 HDJ80's go for these days with under 300km's on it. It might be up for sale now that circumstances might be changing for me.

Styleside dual cab ute chop to my 80 series
Hi all, Has any one ever seen a style side ute chop to an 80 series. I am making it a dual cab and need some advice before the cut. I like the look of tube trays but I have never seen this done apart from with a hilux tub. If anyone has any advice or pictures of one completed it would be greatly ...

Re: Bighorn VS KM2
I have 35" Km2's on my 80 and I think they are brilland in the hard and are reasonably well behaved on the blacktop.
Have a mate who runs buckshots on his MQ and they seem to be good as well.
I don't think you will flaw either way, I'm just a BF man.

G'day mate, My mates GU had the same problem and after we changed all hoses and re-cored the radiator as in this case was over heating we took the head off and found ou it was warped beyond repair. A new head a $1600 later and it was going as good as a 2.8 can. No more bubbling or overflowing. Might ...

Old style MTR's are tops. Mate has them on an 80 series and loves them. A bit noisy on the road and not the most aggressive in mud but still more than capable. I have the BFG KM2's on my 80 series and swear by them. They have out down all my mates tyres offroad up around the Zig Zag area. The old ...

One of my mates has them on an 80 series. 35 x 12.5 x 15 to be exact and its his daily driver. Almost two years old, haven't gone hard, are wearing well after about 35000 km's and will do 110km/r on the F3 all day every day with minimal noise. Highly recomended tyre other than the new BFG KM2 which ...

I am running 35x12.5x15 KM2's on my 4 inch lifted 80 series and they are just incredible. They have more on road manners in my opinion than my mates MTZ's and MTR's, Leaves them for dead offroad and are only just behind the claw in mud when your talking about a Radial type M/T. I picked mine up for ...
