hmm interesting design, you done any FEA on it ? I think if you do you will be seeing some red .....

As others have said you may want to looking into the depth of your stud holes and what length kneeling you will have to deal with, looks pretty shallow.

Ok, have ended up getting a scissor lift as it fits in my shed better than a 2 post and when it is down it stays out of the way, which is good for room.

.probably not the best thing for back yard welders to try and imitate straight away......especially with components for or welded on a road going vehicle.

Mehh now I have finished work for the day I am off to the backyard shed to try and make mig look like tig ........ why because it is COOL ...

Looking for a bigger hoist than my current 3T unit and was considering a 4.5T Powerlift Clear floor off a local guy. Anyone ever used one ?

I have ram assist steering on my car and its no slower then standard.

Ok cool. I am thinking if you run a 2" ram with a stock steering pump it will be slow and resist turning. The factory rack ram is only 1" so the factory pump isn't going ...

Not that I am aware of, even finding people over here than want to talk to you about such things is an issue.

I still buy all my parts for it direct from Torchmate no issues and cheaper than buying local buy a long way.

Also go the Miller serviced and she gota clean bill of health so will have it on eBay shortly.

mm there was a place down archerfield way that use to do it, will see if I still have their card. SHort of that give APE a call and ask them as they are in the area and have been around for a long time.
