Rear Main Seal

I have a 2001 petrol triton approx 145 000 on the clock, and have found a leak from the rear main seal.
Could anyone tell me how much i would be looking at to get that fixed? I hear its a bit of a pain to get to.

Cheers for the great forum.

Scraping noise from front passenger

Hey all,

I have a 2001 triton that makes a scraping noise in the passenger front. It causes the speedo indicator to go absolutely nuts, up and down in time witht the noise.
Has anyone had a similar problem?

Cheers

Rubbing Noise

Muffin,

How did u go with that noise? did you fix the problem?

I have a 2001 Triton that makes a similar scraping noise from the front passenger side. I think it has somethin to do with the speedo, coz the speedo pointer goes ape shit up and down when i drive.
