ended up going with the 302 with the extra 4 door. just organising where to put it our yard or at my place just have to hide it lol. going to get it registered first then get out and play and upgrade as i go but wount take long. already plan on putting mostly ashcroft through it, custom bar work ...

hey all
ive always wanted to do a rangie comp truck and compete more for fun so im tossing up if i should make a devoted comp truck/play truck unreg but need to figure out what events are around that i would make it for or create a new event.
main reason for going unreg is it would only be driven ...

Tufftruck team Salt & Pepper have done an engine lift. its a 25mm block on the engine mounts to lift it up approx 50mm

should have mentioned lux has 2 inch body lift and duals. it has a comp X member on the rear of the transfer which i just need to block up to lift. just trying to sort the engine. anyone made some lifted engine mounts and have pics?

Find me a ute cab and chassie micka and ill start on another one ;) Ive got a hilux here I plan to build up one day but if I coulds get another Defender cab and chassie I would actually prefere to build another locked/lockless again.
i have a hilux with all the trimmings also but would swap it ...

im heading down if i get the hilux running and will be first test for me but not competing as i have 36 simex. will have a good group with me also so if you see a lux with a red star, orange uted 80, titanic 80, stock 80 and a pajero come say hi i will be in the lux.

Give the trail gear cvs a miss, go with longs or track assassins.
Give Chris at Locktup 4x4 a call, the track assassins are really good for their price. Im running them in my 75 series with 40" sticky treps at the moment.
Very happy with how they have held up so far.

i would love some longs but need some cash first however in the meantime i want to know the easiest why to fix them if i need too. also i bought the truck as is and am looking for things that are a necessity which is CVs

i have a hilux that is unregistered and im thinking of getting it re registered. the bloke i got it off said it was taken of the road for a few things like lift, worn seat belts etc. the other problem is the compliance plate has come off but i have all the details for it on the rego papers ...

ripped out the seats and gave it a good scrub. brother inlaw bought a sweet chopped cruiser and is donating the seats to me. he also has a set of 35 MTZ but im thinking the simex 36 would be better.

just picked up a 1990 hilux from a friend who i used to 4b with a bit when i had my blue rangie. his truck was a beast and when i heard he was letting her go i had to get her as i have been in withdrawls from real 4bing for a while.
