also have a look on ebay i got some new 30x9.5 bfg m/t's from st george tyres in sydney, they were reasonably priced; but obviously still need to source rims & fit the tyres. i went thru the whole 31 or 30 thing, in the end decided 30's as much less dodgy guard modding plus the car struggles enough ...

thermo fan wont switch off

just a quick qn... - theres manual switch for my thermofan but also a dial switch to adjust the temp at which it kicks in.... - yesterday i drove through a deep puddle a bit too fast & now the thermo fan comes on all the time; adjusting the dial or turning it on & off with the switch has no effect ...

now im certainly no electrician but if its not the fuse could it be a relay problem?
i had a 'similar yet completely different' thing happen recently with my spotties; they wouldnt turn off; even with the ignition off! had to disconnect the wiring manually...auto elec then replaced the relay

thanks guys.... i actually chickened out & swapped the tyres for 30's; meaning less guard modification plus also a bit easier on the gear ratios; but i will still have to bash the firewall in & maybe trim a bit of the front wheel arch at the rear. next thing to do i guess is to whack on the tyres ...

The car's got a 1 inch body lift kit + 2 inch heightened springs; - im about to cut the front wheel arch so my bfg m/t 31x10.5 r15 will fit..... - as all the other pics on guard cutting were on sierras...(that i saw anyway) - has anyone got pics of their work in a vitara? - as a rough guide how much ...
