not a viable option. different rail widths, they hang out the side and sit about 120mm forward of where they need to be. I used a Frontera bar which didnt bolt straight on but required less mods

DEFINITELY not a problem for all. I believe it to be rim offset related. I have been running 265 70 16's on factory 7½'s without incident.
