went out to the top gear festival at eastern creek the other week
and they where being used then

Only the 'access' tracks were being used, by 'Getabout' 4WD Training/Tours with some loaned Landrovers.

Spoke with their reps on the day; although the OPW beast was there, it was not allowed to drive ...

The first 10 entries recieved got to pick where they started, everyone else went in the hat the the positions they didnt take.

Is that a new rule for this year picking numbers out of a hat???? Thought it was first in first served??

Due to Government legislation we have had to remove timed driving completely from our event. So this is how the rules are looking at the moment, these are NOT official yet as the have to been approved by the dept of Sport & Rec.

Each vehicle will have 6 stops per stage & you will be entitled to 1 ...

As Jamie said, you must be in a club affiliated with the NSW-ACT Association.

So yes, 'certain' clubs. If you're not sure if your club is affiliated, check with one of your committee members.

I like you Corry as well as many others are in the same boat, we only have rego because some comps require it. It is a pain and also an extra expence i would rather not have. My plates haven't been attached to yo lux for years.

Is it possible to bring a shite load of dirt into the spectating area (grassed area) to creat a terrace if this makes sense?

I think that might not be possible, as the hill is 'shared' with the race track viewing area. Also, as it slopes towards EC racetrack proper, you'd need more that a shite ...
