Re: Water methanol on a turbo diesel??

I use the Coolingmist kit that triggers progressively on Boost and EGT. Works great and has plenty of tuning capabilities.

Re: GU 4.2TDi front mount intercoolers

I took some quick measurements last night. Looks like should be able to fit somewhere in the 600 x 350 x 75 core, which will suit my setup. A/C thermo fan will definitely need to go, as will the bonnet latch support. Looks like power steering cooler can maybe just be pushed forward a little for clea...

Re: GU 4.2TDi front mount intercoolers

Yeh I have been in contact with Richard. I currently run his top mount. I was thinking an I/C that size would mean loosing the factory thermo fan which if can be avoided would be great?

GU 4.2TDi front mount intercoolers

My top mount ARE with scoop is past it's limits now and with my injector pump getting modded at the moment I need to find a solution. I don't really want to go big cross country top mount as I don't want to cut my bonnet and 1700 bucks is a bit much. Sfari and ASE are too small for me I think. I'm a...

Re: Claws falling apart

I've had 2 replaced my M/T no questions asked. About 8,000kms Mine had a big tear across one lug and the other cracked along the sidewall. Took them back at two different times and were replaced no probs.

Maybe send those or other photos to a M/T rep and see what they say?

Re: Dual transfer cases on GU

I haven't fitted transfer gears yet. I use my truck on the beach heaps as well as rocks so transfer geras will screw that up for beach driving. Dual transfer gives me the best of both worlds. I understand it is a bit of work but that's why I am investigating this option. I think the atlas are pretty...

Dual transfer cases on GU

Anyone tried running a dual transfer case on GU patrol cab chassis? Got any pics if so?

Seen the Marks adapter kits, guess need extra transfer case, shortened rear tailshaft, beefed up gear box mounts. Anything I have missed. Longer front tailshaft maybe?

Re: Td42T which airbox is big enough for 23+psi

Patroldocta, the 4" inlet/outlet for 4.2TDi box. Does that require more room than factory box? I have a large 100A/H deep cycle battery as second battery, so not much room. I think I read somewhere (might only be for ZD30 box) that mounts are 40 or 50 mm longer or something like that. Is this t...
