it's not a 200tdi manifold and i cant find any markings on it but dose seem to have the same "arms" (the manifold is 3 peices) as a standard 300 one but the turbo bolt up is completly different :?

i need a new manifold on my 300tdi defender but the manifold is not standard and am hoping someone here can give me some info. it's a 1998 d/c defender that has had an auto conversion in melbourn when near new and the turbo is water cooled. where the turbo meets the manifold it is a totaly diferent ...

you would think someone would be over it by now and piss it off for a reasonable price.... most wont sell them off because they make setting up camp so easy and quick that you use them a lot. in warmer weather we use ours an average of every second weekend and when it cools down we still use ours ...

i need to do a drive of around 1000km's and just want to make sure that after my cv exploded :roll: on the weekend that doing that type of distance with the axle and cv removed is not going to damage anything else. as far as i see it it should be fine but just want to make sure.

it's a peice of piss last weekend was the first time i had done it and although it took awhile (a day) due to it being the first time as well as i did the swivle hubs . i think next time should only take me a few hours to do both sides. it is just a very mesy job.

reinforce it! it takes a lot less time to do now than when they rip off the chassis and you have to pull it all apart and put it back together.
trust me i had my driver side one go at 100km/hr i came to a safe stop but think what would happen if it f%$ked with your steering at that speed. :shock:

i just had the rear changed to match the front after the sas
we worked out if you spin the wheel once if only one wheel is lifted you can double it
or
if both raised just count and work out the fraction :armsup:

ok i done the spin the wheel thing we marked the flange spun the wheel and got a differant count front and back but should i have to double the revs or what cause i got 2.25 front and 2.125 rear for 1 rev :?

can anyone tell me why my oil filter is f#%^%$*# still leaking. i have tryed a number of oil filters now and it still seems to piss out oil and somehow come loose the thread and everything seems fine any help would be great as it is now really starting to piss me off as every time i think it is ...

don't know what year but tell your mate that it dosn't matter if it is ifs (at the right price ) he can always sas it that is what ive done and if you can find the right seller it's supprising how much they will come down when told the bad points of ifs :armsup:
