Dude have a look at APT Fabrications. They're at tingalpa. Got my car in there at the moment getting a heap of barwork done. He also does stainless steel snorkels and is well priced and does nice work. There number is 07 3162 0690 and ask for Ben

Mate try not to re-invent the wheel here. Your patrol came out with a viscious coupling fan for a reason, they pull a hell of alot of air, better then most aftermarket thermos. If your patrol's running warmer then it should why dont you just refit the factory fan?? If you must use thermos, like luda...
