ok, then it is a common g13bb engine. the g133bb hasn't any crankshaft sensor but it has the camshaft sensor positioned in the left back of the head. i would check it... the cranckshaft sensor has been introduced in the 2001-onwards jimny engines with double camshaft and is another source of problem...

You have a Series 1 and you are experiencing the 'Series 1 Hiccup'. This is due to a faulty crank angle sensor, which will need to be replaced. In the meantime, when it happens (generally in top gear at around 90-110kph) just push your clutch pedal in, tap the accelerator twice then release the clu...

I think your right. i've just bought one from suzukistore about $120.00 havn't fitted it yet. mine broke down under low spead load when it got hot under the bonnet. it is correct. one simple way to check if the camshaft sensor is gone, is to put some water on it when the engine problem appears. eng...

hey zukiny,
it's good to hear from you.
if you need more hp and you have a spare ecm, you could ship it at this guys
http://www.digitaltuning.ch/english/index.html
and they will do the trick (+ 10 hp).
but again, once you will have your new gears fitted in the t.case, i bet you won't need more power.
keep us informed on your progress...

I think you might have misunderstood trialjimny's post.... he refers to "specific tools" i.e... Suzuki special service tools I am guessing. I figure you will want to work with the factory service manual, so at least you can see what the SST looks like and make a descision if you can use a screwdriv...

2.511/2.123=1,1827 =) a 410 t-case on a coily sierra/samurai gives 18,2% more reduction in low. swapping the t/case is not a bolt in job and it is very likely that will cause a lot of vibes.at least this is what i found when i tried to put it on my jimny. a 410 t/case on a WT sierra is bolt in, you ...

I like almost everything but stock gears are definitely too high for off road use. if you lift it 3", put one or two lockers and add a low gearset, it will take you almost everywhere. if i had to buy another i would go for auto trans. cheers Sweet, what are the specs on your jimny? shortened front ...

hi guys, i am giacomo and i am from italy. my experience with jimny gearing started with the apio planetary gear pros it works great off road cons it is not cheap it lowers only the low range and, if you have tyres taller than 215/75/15, driving in 2high/4high it is a pain i foung it a little noisy ...
