I just came across this. Exactly what I used except I just bought mine at a bearing shop.

5in coils are going to put the CV and Uni at pretty acute angles. The spacer will only be making these angles worse as it will shorten the distance between the Tcase and diff. being that the rear axle rotates on a similar plain to the shaft I'd expect that it's the CV at the Tcase end of the shaft.

I've just fixed this in my 2001 Jimny. It's a very common problem that Suzuki seem to not really want know.

I read in another forum that adding shims to the King Pins to add pre-load fixed the problem. I followed this technique with the help advice from other forum members and have virtually fixed ...

Yeah. It's not on in that photo. I just gaffa tape an aerosol lid over the top. Fits perfectly... almost!!

The "dodgy snorkel" has not been tested yet so can't comment on it yet. As for the POD, there's definitely a bit more acceleration although at highway speed there is a flat spot when I try to accelerate. The noise it makes is neat :-)

I have a flat panel K&N filter in the airbox as well.

Will fit this when going wheeling as the standard air intake is directly behind the RHS headlight.

Just want to avoid...

Needed a snorkel, too tight to pay more than $25 for one + don't want to drill holes.

Actually there's more to this. Luckily I have a stock Jimny as well to compare with. Without an extension bracket the valve will actually be operated in reverse. When you are carrying a load it is meant to send more braking force to the rear, and when unloaded more force to the front.
