Sounds right Sim.. Been running mine at 8-10 not had anything stuck in the beads... They are awesome i have not had a single issue & they are near as good as lockers i rekon If its not going to be a serious track i often only go down to 15 and they have heaps of grip so i would try 15 in the slop ...

I would look at 1 inch spacers each side with 2 inch extended shackles that way you get 1 inch lift & 25mm each side wider track & more room before scrubbing tyres.. As BadMav said it will flex better - also could have the upper leafs reset & remove one to flex it some more & still carry some load.

Totally differnt rigs i know but i destroyed my OME setup in 50K & now have EFS which i have found to be sooooooo much better off road & for comfort. Expected life out of EFS i dont know but has 30K on it now & up in the FNQ area the OME is not rated too well... just my 2 cents & fod for thought.

Big Lux pm sent..

So i intend to try them out over easter 30 min run at 15-20psi to soften them up alittle with some heat & then 30psi hot temp on road using the 4 psi rule from there..

Will report back on performance for those interested after some easter punishment at 10 - 15 psi..

Have a Boost Guage to put in but not sure where & how to mount it on the Turbo/manafold..

Where have you mounted Guage e.g pillar pod, side or on top of dash

I ran OME for 50K did ok alot of heavy carrying & alot of off road work but i had 650 kilo leafs & air bellows so it was uncomfortable.. Now run EFS with Elite shocks no bellows & is great... i dont carry much now so removed an upper leaf & had them reset the difference is huge in comfort & flex ...

carrying 1000 kilo camper on the tray & towing 3 tonne of boat we did the same thing a few years back... Polly Air Bellows - tough so wont puncture - psi from 20 unloaded to 100 the most i had them up to was 50psi - There is NO chance of maintaining any flex what so ever they are fixed to the axle ...
