It's heavy in comparison to chromo yes but not what I'd call real heavy. At $75 for 6m who cares:-) When 1 3/4 tube is only $84 for 6m I don't see why people wouldn't use it. Unless of course your in WA, not sure on prices over there. works out to $147 for 6m in WA (incl gst) 1 3/4 .102 wall or 24 ...

Dont get me wrong, if i knew what i know now i wouldnt of had so many breakages. The 60s diff i built for the 45 series is about as bullet proof as you can get minus 6stud forged knuckles. I average 15l/100 in a 105 cruiser with a dts turbo and intercooler

the average is over the last 80.000km which includes long touring ie Perth to Cape York rtn and a trip up to and along the Gibb
I do a fair bit of towing when home as well
