Maybe your right, but I broke the metal catcher ages ago and have been using a very strong sticky tape to hold it shut
and really need a new petrol cap or other ways of replacing it.

Is it just the standard large square flip cap ? Get one from another 86 or earlier rangie with the key as well. Nothing else will fit. Yeah its the standard large square flip cap and its crap, I keep losing petrol all the time when i am going up a hill, I cannot fill it all the way up have to fill ...

Gday, I am looking for a petrol cap for my Range Rover 1986, the orginal one I have now is crap. People are sucking petrol out of my car and / or Pissing down in my petrol hose... who knows, anway, I want to know, which model of other car or 4x4 petrol cap with lock, that would fix on a Range Rover ...

Hey ya, Having problem with my Rangie, drove to work it was fine. When I finished work, wouldnt start at all. Its not the battery, its not the alt, its not the starter motor, ... it has to be one of these million bloody wires every where. Can you please give me advice, where else can I look for ...

my cars a 1986 range rover 3.5 litre fuel injected. automatic, im not sure what transfer case its got. Does that help?

Gday Having a problem with my diff lock.. had a little drive to ormeau the other day and it was jammed in the normal position. I could NOT engage the 4wd 'diff lock' on the transfer stick and it seemed to be stuck... Does anyone have any ideas or information on whether i could try to fix it myself ...

Gday, Me and my mate have put a 2 inch body lift. Problem is that, there is four mounts inside the chassis. Think its call tie down or something. No idea. What do i do? Some people say, bolt it , weld it, put block in there??? Please give me as many advice or idea as much as you can. Thanks Mark
