Re: Converting Dana 60 Passenger drop to Driver drop

Mate its fairly simple. The axel tubes come out press them back in and weld in place fairly easy and Diff mob should be able to do it. But as Ben just said Buddy would be good to go talk to is your looking to do upgrades as well.

Re: Dual cab child restraint anchor points

A few years back now I had to get some put into a car that was imported. Ended up being a huge ordeal. It ended up costing $1100 to get 3 put into a car had to have a engineer put them in and signed off before having the RTA sign off on them.

Re: Profender Coil overs???

A nother option that I have often done is put a over sized but under weight spring in. So for 2" lift put a really soft 3" in. With a longer shock you will get your desired more down travel. But this only works if your car is a little heavy to start with.

Not having a crack at you for running one, but at the industry for implying a return to centre damper is better than a normal damper. You have been misled as are thousands of people.
The castor etc should encourage your steering to return to centre, not a spring secured with a couple of bolts.

Should be fairly easy to find TDC on cyl one. Just role tha cam over till all valves are closed on cyl one and Spin the crank till cyl one is at TDC. (most of the mechanics I know would have made sure the engine was at cyl 1 TDC before removing the head)

Get the car up on a hoist or a few jack stands and with a pry bar move around all the bushings till you find the ones that are worn out. I would look for the rear bush in the control arms.
Take a good look at your tires. find the one or two that have some odd or bad wear on them and start looking ...

Re: Getting mud in bead. Any solutions?

You can aply the sika after the tire is already on. just make the hole at the end of the tube really small. Then use your finger to rub along the crack between your tire and rim. If you do it right it will get enough in there to "help" stop the mud from getting in there.
