Hey

Are there any wires you tap into to install electric brakes in the colorado or do you have to run one down the car.

What have other people done.

nope all hilux stuff

the front has been upgraded to vented discs from later modal hilux i think... i got an 85 4runner. pretty sure they where solid standard.

Went out to Lithgow this weekend. Got nice and muddy. Went through all the puddles. Perfect brakes on the way home.

The handbrake holds to about 15 to 20 degree incline on 35 inch tyres. About as good as muddy drums I guess.
I'm Going to play with more leverage on the mechanism.

I did a rear disc conversion on my sierra with hand brake. Worked great.
I was running 31 inch tyres

I'm currently toying with a Mazda 3 setup. so far so good.
just put new pads on. going to see how the handbrake goes this weekend.

I got a leaf sprung 4runner.

My steering changes as the springs sag. i might articulate one way more than the other.
it went back to middle after Saturdays trip :)

Hey

Just measure it up.
You will be missing the Proportioning valve bracket. (just weld on another)
The Bushes will be different. might be lucky if they fit or can find something similar.
Main things the length.

it has same Kw as 4age but more touque at lower rpm
