Yep. Replace it with a new one (cheap as chips, don't worry about trying to rebuild it) and bleed the system and you should be good to go. do you think it's only the slave cylinder? but the clutch fork is moving, when you press the clutch?! i thought it would not move at all, when the slave cyl is ...

Go underneath and pull the boot on the slave cyl back and see if fluid comes out. Master and slave cylinders are fairly cheap and you should have no probs doing it yourself with basic tools. i pulled the boot back and in deed there was a fairly amount of fluid coming out?! but the fluid in the cup ...

thanks for your answers. it seems that it's not losing clutch fluid and the master cylinder was replaced 6 month ago. a guy from racq said, that it is not a hydraulic problem and that it's moving. When you say you can't select gears, are you sure the clutch is not working? Can you select gears when ...

Already visited some gearbox specialists and wreckers but the quotes for fixing or replacing the gearbox varied from 1000$ to 2200$...a lot too expansive for me. So if anybody has a gearbox for sale for a ...

Toyota changed the 5th gear selector rod and fork, and probably other stuff too. Any good gearbox repairer will know the details. Ah, so maybe the gearbox can be repaired. Thats good news. :) Do you (or anybody else) know a good gearbox repairer between Sydney and Brisbane? That would be very nice ...
