Mate used to run a CT26 turbo and fuel pump from 1HD-T engine on his comp truck 1HZ with DTS top-mount I/C, so I would start there. Was very responsive and but the torque curve was quite peaked.
Wanting something that spools up from 1000rpm might be a little optimistic also.

Re: TD05H TURBO
Does anyone know what compressor housing the dynamics TD05H turbo kit use's and does anyone have a turbo map for it? You've got a few options, but the 3 used by MTQ in the DTS kit are as below. The first is their std setup, the other two are upgrades. Compressor 16G"small" - 1.83" inducer & 2.365 ...

Re: PTO problem
Excessive grease in the freespool sometimes causes it to hydraulic lock. Hopefully its just a matter of removing the 6 allen-head bolts from the freespool and giving it a tap with a rubber mallet to pop the freespool off. Clean out with kero and make sure the internal spring mechanism works properly ...

Darin, Those 3 or 4 motors we toasted in Aarons truck expired in largely the same way you're describing. Always the cylinders closest to cross-over pipe from turbo (we used twin cross-over remember), pyro never got high even with the fuel we were running....dropped boost to below 20psi and it lasted ...

I run a CT-26 from a Celica GT-4 on mine, same as what the 1HD-T's have except these ones have ceramic exhaust wheel. Replaced ceramic wheel and shaft with a steel one after the wheel come adrift from the shaft and upgraded to Garrett T-04B compressor wheel at same time. Then went bigger compressor ...

Can anyone dumb it down for someone who knows nothing about bluetooth...do you need to have cell-phone reception for it to work? And just on the blue-ant setups, what sort of talk time do you actually get from a set of batteries? Is it as per the info, or do you need to replace them half way through ...

Trol: Interesting one! Thanks for that; that's somewhere I definitely wouldn't have gone. AFAIK, the car's basically completely free of electronics - the FIP is totally manual - but whether something links to, say, the stop solenoid might be worth looking at. Easy one to prove too - just disconnect ...

Bit of a left-field one, but what is your oil pressure doing? I've seen some of these pumps over here with a simple EDIC setup that will cut power supply to the pump if it looses oil pressure. I've experienced low oil pressure on start up with my truck, but if you turn it off, wait 5 secs and re ...

Ive got a td42 which goes pretty hard. Last time I dyno'ed it I got 152rwkw. All ive done so far is- High flowed the turbo, (which is a denco high mount), match port both manifolds, upgraded fuel pump also by denco, a big front mount intercooler and a cam grind. I fully rebuilt the engine before ...

Re: Nisson Patrol bump steer
Would anyone know what is the best, easiest or cheapest way to correct bump steer in a nisson patrol with a 7inch lift and 36" tyre's. Need to flatten the angle of panhard and tie-rod. Lift the panhard-rod mount on the front diff about 70mm. Then you need to lift the LH tie-rod end by same amount ...

Re: GQ PTO shear pin breakages
We've replaced the shear-pin with a piece of stainless rod machined down to suit. Haven't actually broken one, but they get a bit twisted after a few comps, so it gets a fresh one regularly. Some people use a high-tensile bolt instead. and have you ever placed to much strain on the winch by doing ...
