Price isn't everything, but it does help ...

Re: what suspention does everythink best for an 80

Hi ndog,

I had fitted just before xmas a 3" dobinson kit to my 80.
It has made a huge difference both on and off road compared to the crap iron man 2" kit that was in it when i got it.

The flex I am getting now is great and it is still very good on the road as I put 2 degree castor correction in ...

Hi Guys FYI,

When they measure the track of a vehicle they measure from the inside of one side to the outside of the opposite side and then check there measurements to the vehicle standards and compare. Every RTA and Police officer is taught this way.

Just to clarify,

Cheers

Hi Glen,

Looking great mate!!!!!

Just curious, are you going to get the necessary air flow in that position for the radiator? I know that you have the twin thermos but it looks like the airflow will be somewhat limited.

Keep up the great work

Cheers Pete

Hi Scott,

Thanks mate Zupps Aspley was the one that I called as well as Mt Gravatt. I will walk in to the dealer I think as they seem more helpful if you are standing in front of them. I will keep you posted

Issues with Speedo Gears for my NL

Hi Guys,

I am wondering if anyone can assist me. I have spoken to 2 Mitsubishi dealers yesterday and they were about as helpful as a fart in an elevator. I had my VIN number and everything else i needed and I attempted to use the part number 739274 for the 24 tooth gear as I have 32" tyres. I also ...

Hi Guys,
I finally got my new rubber on. I went with the bighorns 32x11.5x15's a bit of difference from the standard 235/75/15's. They feel great on the road, I was surprised how quiet they are. I am looking forward to getting them dirty.

Hi Guys,

My NL Escape has 15" alloys standard does that mean they are running a different brake & Caliper set up than the GLS? Can I fit any other 15" rims on it or do I have to go 16"

Cheers

Hi Guys,
Has anyone had any experience with nexen roadian muddies? I am considering buying a set of 265/75/16's. the tread pattern is almost identical to maxxis bighorns and about $30 cheaper per tyre,

Hi Goona & love_mud,
mine is out as well running 235's almost 5klm/hr at 100, GPS says 100 speedo says 105. from what I have been told the 31's should bring this back almost spot on. Yeah I have a 2000 escape that I am slowly modifying the lift kit is next and the muddies.

Hi guys,

I am currently running 235/75/15 a/t's on factory 15x6 alloys. I am changing the rims to 15x7 and putting 31x10.5x15's instead. I have been told that there won't be any speedo difference is this correct?
