The 12v is a free spinner. I know this as my paj not long ago snapped a timing belt :x

I have AVM hubs on my pajero and have had no problems. It is locked in the front and I have broken 2 cv's and the hubs have handled it.

Wheel bearings in a paj are very easy. Just finished doing mine this arvo as a matter of fact. Once the freewheeling hub is off there is a plate with 4 screws in it that needs to be removed and the bearing adjustment is behind that.

I had them in a 31-10.5-15 and loved them.Great traction and even got good km's onroad.Had them on a pajero for 12 months and when sold they still had 60-70% tread.From memory i only paid $140 a tyre to.

I got a LOKKA in the front of my v6 pajero 6 monyhs ago and have yet to break anything. Gets used on average 2 days a week and doesn't get an easy life. Had air lockers in my old patrol and never broke them either so can't comment on whether they are as reliable etc. But for less than half the price ...

Didn't hear any noises when it went.
But i was at about 5500 rpm so i couldn't hear a lot apart from exhaust noise.

6g72 timing belt

Broke the timing belt on my 6g72 powered series 1 today. Just wondering if anyone has knowledge if this would generally bend valves and hurt pistons in one of these motors?
Have been told that 6g72's have enough clearance between valves and pistons for this to not be a problem. Is this true or ...

i had a waeco 40L in my truck for 2 years and had nothing but trouble from the electrics. Engle is the only way to go. But in the end go for as big as you can while still getting quality.

its off a series 1 v6. was making heaps of noise for a while and when i found it there was lots of surface rust in one of the cracks so im guessing that it was cracked for a while.
