Hi guys, I've got exactly the same problem with my jack. its identical to the rodeo, can you tell me where you tap into the speedo wire? do you grab it from the tranny or just before it goes into the instrument cluster? I too have been looking at the jaycar kit too, looks like it will work a charm ...

i did mine with alloy blocks, made them myself, cost about the same as an ebay body lift though, i never did get around to lifting the bumper though. usually there is one wire thicker than the rest, this will be your 12v feed, using a cheepy light globe wiring tester is the best for test commecting. Because if u mess up and dead short it it will just light up instead of shorting, you'll be able to sort out what is what pretty quickly

I bought a 40nb Dawn die off Nelso (thanks mate!) and its a ripper! it does a perfect job on the tube i had which was 5mm wall thickness, and does a nearly as good a job on the 2mm but leaves a small kink which is still passable ...

Thanks for the advice, ill have to pull the wheel off and have a look, ive also been told that inside the indicator assembly there is a nylon cam with two pins on it to turn it off and these are broken, ill have to have a look for myself and report back.

i just took mine off, they were as stuck as buggery so i found the longest key i could, close to 8mm but it was imperial i think, then i closed a 12' shifter on the end and used that for leaverage, felt like i was going to snap the alen key but after i broke the seal all was good.

Hey, did you end up doing your body lift? ive heard alot of things which make a body lift a bit more difficult, main one was the steering spline needed an extention on the shaft as it nearly pops out. any words of wisdom would be good coz im dying to do a body lift on mine
