Something to try.Check you havnt got a dirty big vacuum leak.Look at the vacuum hoses running off No1 on the manifold first.Using some plyers clamp them shut one by one.Then try spraying some carby cleaner around the manifold gasket and carby base gaskets and see if it flares up.How did spark plug ...

Gday.
Try taking the wire off temp sender and see if guage still goes up with key on.If it doesnt go up it should be the temp sender.If it still goes up with wire off it may be wire to sender unit is earthing out or guage is shagged.

Im running 35x10.5x16 Simex Extremes and have no scrubbing but they were half worn when i put them on,so i would say you may get alittle scrubbing when new.I think the 10.5 is the trick as im sure 12.5 would scrub pretty bad on mine.Ive got 3inc spring lift and standard bumstops.

Yep very commen problem.Itermediate seal between G/box and tranfer leaking.There is a easy fix.Go to any decent 4x4 store parts place and they will have a kit that consists of 2 new filler plugs with a brass out let tapped into them and a piece of hose and clamps to run between the pair and via ...

Another thing that can show those symtoms is a leak from the engine oil cooler into the water jacket located behind oil filter housing.

Just remove the hose that has vacuum to it at idle.I think from memory its the one closest to the dizzy.

My mate has just taken delivery of a 60 series with standard height springs at the moment.Just wonderind what the biggest rubber would be without causing too much grief.He would like to go 35s if possible
