Just changed a head on a 3Ltr surf 1KZ-TE motor that was cracked between the valves, and the pre cumbustion chamber. I was told it wasnt worth repairing and got a new head. New head cost just under $1000 and got the valves changed out of the old and in to the new for $200.

i just fitted a pertronix ignitor to my gq tb42 patrol. fitted new plugs and gaped them to 1.0mm. currently using a gt40r coil and it all ran fine, no flat spots or miss. i throught i would get a flame thrower 3.0ohm coil and fitted that. now it misses under load around the 2000rpm mark. just ...
