Outer Limits 4x4 Board

hey 1 of my mates have a similar question will the tb4.2 gearbox bolt up to the td4.2 motor it would be great if someone could help out

found out just like Scanas said it can be done i talked talked to 1 of my dads mates whos an engineer and he said its the same as wen people chuck a hotrod body on hq mazda or toyota ute chasis as he has complied these before and this wouldnt be any diferant to any of them

its because i have the td4.2t mav already and dont hav a liecence for a bit just thought a cheap way to hav a 4.2 turbo gu ute or if not im just goin to chop the maveric down

well thats good to know ill check into that. does anyone know if the body mounts are simalar from the gu to the gq/mav if anyone could help would be great

hey iv got a 92 td4.2 maveric wagon wonderin how possible it would be to put a gu ute cab on the maverics wagon chasis any info would be great cheers

my mates got an old toyota the only thing good is the motor and his motor in his patrol is getin a bit sad so wonderin if theirs a place he can get a adapter plate or will the 1hz bolt on to the patrol gearbox cheers

ill take that off an have a look if its not the sump go down north side diesel see if they got a barring kit so u can do the barrings wile motors still in the car

ok just brought this mav got told it was rebuilt but obviosly not coz the bottom end is making a wicked nock just wounderin how hard it wound be to do the barrings in it myself and of any kit to do so

i had a look couldnt find hardly anythin on here at least anyway

just brought a maveric an goin to do a duelcab cut just seen if anyones got any pics and if u can use like the back of a duelcab highlux or somthin to use for the back cheers

think i might go the xtracab white one looks sic unless any pics of duelys

lookin at gettin a 100 series from mines and got someone to cut it down but dont no if i want a duel cab or extra cab anyone got any pics of either or no were i could look at some cheers
