Re: Converting Dana 60 Passenger drop to Driver drop
I agree that changing the transfer is the cheapest and easiest way to go
but flipping it to drivers side isn't so bad you wont need custom axles and cutting the c's off is about the hardest part .

It's not so simple as Dave said you need to shorten the long side and lengthen the short as the cross pin in the centre is off set hope that helps cheers Greg (outcast offroad)

Re: McNamara single piece cross shaft - GROUP BUY
There are a few boys on Pirate4x4 that have expressed interest in buying a McNamara single piece cross shaft for their LT230 transfers. I'm posting up here to see if there is an interest to get enough numbers for a decent group buy. The last one we had on here yielded a fairly good discount on Maxi ...

the auto is a zf 4-22 which is a borg warner i thought ? The transmission you mention is the later type gearbox, the brand being ZF: http://www.zf.com/corporate/en/homepage/homepage.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; The early factory fit transmissions were the TF7727's, and I ...

Differentials have planetary gears?? Cool. Nothing like hearing advice from people that don't even know how a differential is built. I'm pretty suspect as well.
