Longest standard shock length?

G'day all.
I have the chance to get a complimentary set of shocks from someone my brother knows. Just wondering what is the longest "standard" length amongst the 4wd makes? This company only caters for standard height suspension replacements. Its going onto my SOA 60 series, but that doesn't matter ...

I have had SOA and a pretty psycho looking ute chop for a year now. Been driving around all the popular suburbs of Sydney -- been followed, passed, RBT'd, followed some more, staired-down, etc etc by dozens and dozens of cops. Never once been questioned or stopped. All tires are covered, and mud ...

Hi Dan
I own a 1999 Deli.
For me it sound taht this part is next to dieselpump. I know there is a connection to the cooling system of the engine. This valve controls the dieselpump in relation of the enginetemperature. Anyway a pic would be very helpfull.

Yeah its a bit tricky, especially with a description like that!!

Thanks for your reply though, but I am not sure what this EGR you speak of is. But yes, it has coolant running to it, and it looks like that perhaps when the coolant reaches a certain temp, this valve may push up against this spring ...

2.8 engine help needed

G'Day guys,
I have a question about the 2.8 diesel intercooled, this one actaully being in a DELICA.
I am going to struggle to explain what this piece of componentry is, but here goes!
It is a small valve that sits in a cast casing, and it has coolant run through it. It is down low on the passenger ...

warn 9000 help

I have searched and searched, and been through the bibles, but can't appear to find my exact problem.

Freind has a warn 9000 that works sometimes, but other times it seams to "free spin".... the motor turns, but not the drum.

The other day we were winding the cable on, and it just started free ...

I am also very interested in this topic question! I only have a year or so left on my engine. It is a 2H, been running 35z without a qualm for past three years. Plenty of power to sit on 110/120 on freeway, but does get knocked back to 80/90 on the bigger hills. Keeps up with traffic fine around the ...

Turbo diesel auto 60 series. Some had seven seats.

Just do all your home work on the engine condition etc and there is no reason you couldn't pick up a good one.

But I guess for the price you could maybe get petrol Patrol auto on gas aswell.

This sounds like they have a pretty small price ...

DAWSO search "vsi06" on the NSW RTA website. That is a document that outlines what you can and can't do re these sort of mods. Check out page five.

I can only go by what my panel beater told me, but last year when I chopped my sixty down to a sort of extra cab type thing, he said that the strongest and cheapest way to do it is keep the rear-most pillar, and re-use it.

As I can see from the pics that you cannot really do that if you are ...

Getting paint off windscreen

My car was at a panel beaters a year or so ago, and it got little specs of paint (overspray from primer) on the front windscreen. I'm speaking about 15dpi.

Whats the best way to get it off? I've tried all the basic stuff I have in the shed -- turps etc, but to no avail. A razor blade does get it ...

you need to get the 14x6" 140mm 4 stud pattern in the speedy wheels

which as earlier mentioned is the same as the peugot's

also look out for groovy looking peugot alloy wheels

you will pay upwards of $150 a wheel for the scorpion rims, but they are factory offset. Still a 14x6 though ...

VERY VERY VERY EASY.

Unbolt everything. Cut radiator shroud (or do it neater way like me and re-mount radiator 2" lower).
Undo 4WD gear lever boot.
Install blocks. Bolt in.
Steering will slip down enough.
Everything else will stretch.
Fix air intake (add in bit of rubber tube)
Bend and/or ...

heya all

My little brother (first year apprentice = on a budget!!) is after a snorkel for his 92 model 3.0L V6 Pajero (GLS with the silver flares).

I understand that an ARB one would be in the vacinity of $500 yeah?? But are there any cheaper options...??? Is there someone about that makes ...
