Re: 15 inch rims
It appears that you will need to try the rims on your vehicle, as has been shown that "Rims aren't Rims".

Re: Rims to suit a GU diff
The 15 x 8 with -25mm offset fit, front and rear. I have put a set of 2.8 GU diffs into my GQ and the GQ rims did not fit around the caliper due to the caliper hitting on the lip where the centre is welded in. The larger - offset allows the caliper to miss this lip on the GU diffs.

Re: 15 inch rims
15 x 7's will not fit, 15 x 8 with -25 offset will, on early model GU diffs(out of a 2,8 wagon), not sure about the rear on the leaf sprung.

Re: Rims to suit a GU diff
15" X 7" rims will not fit onto GU diffs.
I have just tried these on a front diff out of a 2.8 GU, and the caliper fouls on the rim. They do fit on the rear though (also 2.8 GU).
I am going to try 15 x 8 with -25mm offset, these I am told will fit.
Should get them tomorrow or the next day to try ...

Re: GU DIFFS into GQ
H260 rear diffs in GU 3.0L are extremly rare. Most 3L GU's run H233B, all 3L ratios are 4.375:1
Wrong......I have a series 4 3.0l wagon, 4.1 ratios here.
I am looking at putting in GU diffs into my old Maverick, I wasn't aware of the rear panhard being different. or is this only if you use a ...

Re: Trailer couplings
Is there any reason NOT to use a Hyland coupling?
What's not to like?
Thanx
Paul
There is no reason to not use one, as far as I can see, I have one on my new camper. Fits most new balls, no need for electric brakes and is built strong.
I tried towing the camper through some ordinary situations ...
