Re: Diff Lockers ?
for normal 4x4 play they would probably be fine. In comps they gave us & alot of others issues. These lockers work by activating when 1 wheel slips or spins, making them automatically lock in. in comps & normal hardcore play there are times you dont want a locker on. EG :- powering up over a bank ...

Re: 4.2 Injector pump for Big HP
Shootout mode???? Ha It's a legitimate question. When comparing hp on a dyno dynamics you should run in "shootout mode" that way no values can be changed to 'inflate' figures and you get an across the board comparison that is dead accurate from state to state (or wherever), give or take a few hp ...

Re: gq diff locked up LSD? in 4x4 only ??
Mate, what you're hearing is exactly that, binding up of the drive train, but not across one axle, it's from front to rear. When you turn a corner, your front wheels turn a larger arc than the rear. The skipping tyres is just the drivetrain unloading the tension that has been wound into it. This is ...

Re: Rb20det into Gq swb
I would imagine it would go pretty good when on boost, but for 4bying it would probably be useless when u want to be crawling around on idle, always stalling it or slipping the sh#t out of the clutch to get over rock ledges and so on.

A DURAMAX CAN BE A BIG OUTLAY, SO GET IT RITE THE FIRST TIME. I wish I could have one (think ill ask santa) I know what you mean there. I would love one and I think a GU wagon with a blown 3lt would make a real good platform. But the needing a Body lift is of concern. In a GQ it doesent bother me ...

Pretty much what paul has said. As a standard install we fit DSP5 switch, which gives you 5 different tunes switchable on the fly. Shifter setup is PRNDM1, using either a B&M shifter or modified nissan shifter for factory look. in M you have basically a tiptronic mode, usually use a rocker switch ...

Re: more prone to break cv with lock rite or air locker?
ARB air lockers are tried and tested. Air locker should only be locked in before you punch the horse power which is better than a lockrite which could lock in when ever it wants to. If your name is saying you own a GU I do not think you will have many if any problems with the front cv,s. What sort ...

Bodylift in a GU is easy to do . Kit is $350 Bodylift does not affect the air bags at all. So there is no issuse even on a registered GU Cheers x2 I have done a body lift on my GU wagon using one of Johnz kits. It does not affect airbags and it is perfectly legal. I applied through Qld transport ...
