the material used in the O rings is not up to todays diesel.

new seals should fix it.

yes you can, but it will crack again one day! best to get another housing when one comes up cheap but a weld will get you through for a while.

mine is lsd but makes noise all the time i think z()ltan is right diff is shagged i was just hoping that it might have been something else looks like im up for $400 or so for a second handy or does anyone no wat a rebuild is worth roughly in the bris area cheers

i have owned one of these before on gas/petrol and like mat p said give them some rpm and they are good for power for a big car i have also owned a 4.2 petrol and currently have a 4.2 deisel the rb30 shit all over both of them for power i gave the the 30 wat for, for about 2 years and it didn't miss ...

got a td 42 running 35's and coming down through the gears it occasionly pops out of third! why? syncros gone or? cheers for any ideas.

i have td 42 and the alt has a small tube that comes out of the top rear and occasionly engine oil comes out of it when i turn the engine off, have been told this is supposed to have a hose on it that runs to somewhere on the manifold? can anyone help? cheers!

a tree didn't agree with my passenger side door and i got another one but it is full glass and i would like to put the quarter setup in new door i realize they are same shape but not sure if the allocations for screws bolts etc are in full glass doors cheers. And to patroler i already have quarter ...

gq quarter glass in front doors can this assembly be put into a full glass door? how much stuffin round is it?

not sure bout 2.8 & 4.2 but was told today that the petrol and deisel 4.2 are diffrent the high & low pressure hoses go on in diffrent places apparently.

well chunks i put a new damper on and it has not done the death wobbles since and that was about a 1year ago so yeah it fixed my problem but you can think whatever you want to think but it worked for me bye

could be steering dampener had the same thing happen to me and that is what it ended up been

i have powersteer fluid coming out of bottom of steering pump just wondering if it is f#@ked or can rebuild them/$ just chasing some thoughts has i have not encountered the problem before cheers goods
