Not sure what engine you have your pump on but on my TD42 there is no possible way I can hear the water pump above the noise of the engine.. Let alone the two thermo fans.. I understand what u mean it does sound loud when it's on by itself, but there is no time when I have it runnin by itself.

Didn't notice a power difference as such but it revs out a bit quicker and harder and we were able to wind a few more pound of boost in as well. Hah.. He didn't have that as a kit when we ordered two of them about 2 yeas ago. But that is the same kit I have minus the reservoir. I just found some aluminum elbow and made up a flange plate and got them all welded together. Couple of silicone bends and it's ready to go.
