Didn't that guy Jeepir have a PTO winch on his 93 or whatever it was? He used to hang out at 4x4wire and last I saw him at POCUK board. I think he's from Norway... this guy: [img]http://www.offroad.no/album/bilder/2005-04-02%20Mitsubishi%204x4%20Club%20Norway%20treff%20på%20Hvalsmoen/img/IMG_9335.j ...

Great, good stuff. I bought a 99138 and I'll see how it works. BTW this will be replacing OME shocks in the rear. Got a less than satisfactory response from the ARBUSA folks after breaking one a month or so after the warranty expired :? :

Cool thanks guys thats good to know. Maybe its just a sleeve that needs changing then. I emailed Rancho and told them the Montero community needs this shock with the LS82 bottom. At any rate I ordered one to see if I can make it work myself. Thanks again BTW Hekta do you remember which part# you ...

Wow, never heard of anyone actually having this option. Thought that was a JP version only option. LT, yes same side as our Aussie friends :)

Brett: The filler is on the right hand side (facing vehicle front on).

Look at the full view pics of Franks truck...they are on what would be our drivers side.

My general disgruntlment for lack of availablility and answers still stand! :P

Yeah see, our filler is on the same side. ??? I'm afraid this might be what to me would appear to be another case of ARBUSA - too cool to deal with the Mitsu crowd.

Looks like I'll just have to get my buddy to put one on his next container out of Oz.

Thanks for the pics Frank. Say, do you see any reason on that thing why ARBUSA would be giving us the runaround saying it wont fit due to opposite driver's side issues??

Is your tank filler on the right hand side?

Hey Angelo, yeah all the back seat passengers are little people - they have to be hoisted in Yes there is a few things I'd do different - as far as lateral stiffness (along the length of the slider) there is NO flex. But there is flex at the weld to the frame. My plan is to weld a C channel onto the ...

Hey those look familiar - Look similar to Augies design... I like what Augie did. Used a lighter square tube under the rocker then reinforced for rigidity with an even lighter round tube, which also protects a little from the side and serves as a step. I own the vehicle now...some pics here: http ...

Interesting. Is octane graded the same down there? I dont think you could get that kind of octane around here unless you went to a race shop Regular unleaded here is 87, mid-grade 89, and premium is usually 93, sometimes 92. $2.22/us gal for 93 octane right now. It was $2.36 two weeks ago. 87 is ...

I'm gonna stick my neck out and say if you dont use the recommended 92 octane you're asking for trouble. Even if you dont hear engine knock doesnt neccessarily mean detonation is NOT occuring in your cylinders and putting very harsh stress on critical parts. Lower grade fuel just wasnt designed for ...

I've been told by the ARB people here in the US that the Pajero Long Ranger fuel tank wont fit US models. Wondering if anyone has one of these and if they might know what exactly the difference is. Best improvement I have found for my 3.5 DOHC has been the larger diameter free flow exhaust, lots more power midrange and more torque down low where it needs it most, and best of all it sounds great. Extractors don't seem to do much good based on others experience, air filter changes (K&N ...
