SEEN IT FIRST HAND...down the road from work near the local.

you know...driving along and any 40 catches your attention.

it is fairly ordinary, the welds are not very neat inside. shouldn't be too hard to do i guess. but be a pain if you rolled and had no recplacement.

Sorry to hijack your thread bambam

but where would one buy an aircon system for a 40 (I have a bj42) and how much would you be looking at spending?

I rekon aircon would be great in hot weather, it might not stay cold in a softtop, but instant relief sounds good to me!

cheers

BJonroids, aka Rob, did a 2h swap. he rekons if he had to do it all over again, he'd get pretty much the whole front cut as you'd need a lot more than just the engine...ie radiator,hoses...etc.

my 2c.

I got mine proffesionally done for $2k including tune up and rerouting muffler. Goes well when everything is working...and i can get 250-300km off a 65lt usable tank. which works out to be less than half the price for a full tank of unleaded for roughly the same distance. I've heard of guys getting ...

hey guys just wondering if you guys have rattley doors. the hinges are fine, no give. it's mainly at the door lock itself. I was thinking i could possibly get new seals. that would push the door out from the body. my current seals are in pretty good condition, so i doubt it would fix the problem ...
