My 100 series gets 320 k's out of 90 lts of gas around town and about 400 k's on a trip.
Full time 4x4 and 35" tyres (electronic speedo correction so km's are correct)

Did the engine overheat?

If your lucky it's just a head gasket, if it got hot it could be a cracked block or cracked/warped head.

I've got 3" king springs on my 100 series and I wouldn't recommend them, they are too soft. I had 2" medium duty Old Man Emu springs before and they were much better and gave about the same ride height as the 3" king springs. I've got the 4.3 diffs which come standard on the manual 100 series, a little bit sluggish on the road but Landcruisers have a good low range reduction so off road its very good.

I've got a 100 series with a 4" lift and after fitting castor plates the track rod is rubbing on the radius arm and the front drive shaft has a bad vibration due to the angle the unis are at. What did you do to solve these problems.

I've got a 2000 model 105 petrol manual with a 2" lift, 30mm spring packers front and rear and Koni long travel shocks.
